I’ve lived in Spokane for over 9 years.

What do you like best about Spokane?

I LOVE Spokane, the community and the close access to all of the trails, lakes, rivers and mountains!

Tell us about the local organization you founded.

BARK was founded in 2020. It all started over a night of drinks with friends. “We overheard a young man at the end of the bar talking about opening a rescue brewery where dogs could be adopted,” “and we thought, that could be a great idea but we don’t know a thing about making beer.” After some research Josh and I discovered a rescue dog tap house in Tigard, OR and several Kitty Cafes. After the search for a perfect location and a perfect partner with the Spokane Humane Society; BARK, A Rescue Pub was born. BARK's mission is simple: Dine. Drink. Do Good!

How can we as a community can support Bark?

The best way to support BARK is to visit, support our mission, and dine, drink and do good to continue to help abandoned animals find their forever homes.
