My Spokane story begins at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center, where I took my first breath, surrounded by the warmth of this community. Growing up with a nurse as a mother and an architect father who contributed to the modernization of local high schools, I've been deeply rooted in Spokane's essence from the very start.
As I ventured into the working world, my first job at 16 years old involved scooping ice cream at Riverfront Park in the heart of Downtown Spokane. Those sweet memories are just a taste of the incredible experiences this city offers. Graduating from Eastern Washington University, exchanging vows at Beacon Hill Catering and Events, creating a thriving yoga studio (Eclipse Power Yoga) with my wife Erin, and building a home on the South Hill with my wife, daughter Reiko, and our playful goldendoodle Yogi — Spokane has been the backdrop to many of my life's cherished moments.
